What is the original JAMB result?

The JAMB Original Result Slip is an official document issued by JAMB that shows your JAMB result as well as other personal information such as your passport photograph, date of birth, and address, and is thus used for official purposes.

The original JAMB result slip differs from the result notification slip. When you check your JAMB result on the JAMB portal, you will see the result notification slip. It does not include your passport photograph. As a result, it is not official.

Your UTME score The purpose of the result notification is to provide you with a summary of your performance in the subjects covered in the exam. It does not contain any personal information, such as your passport photograph, date of birth, address, institutions, or courses you applied for, and thus cannot be used for official purposes.

The main distinction between the JAMB Original Result Slip and the Notification of Result is that the JAMB Original Result Slip will show the following;

• Schools and courses of choice.

The JAMB Original Result Slip is essential because it is usually required if;

• You want to write the Post-UTME Admission Screening Exercise for your preferred school. It is usually required to submit this document on the day of the screening, or you may be asked to upload it online.
• You want to begin the registration process for the school to which you have been admitted. This document will be requested by your school as part of the registration process (to verify your JAMB score).
• You want to push for admission to your preferred school via supplementary or other admission lists.
• You need to verify your JAMB score.

How to Print Your JAMB 2022 Original Result Slip

1.Before proceeding, you must first login to the JAMB portal by clicking here.

2. On the left side of the page, under the services list, click on "Print Result Slip." NOT NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS

3. After viewing the transaction details, click "Continue with Payment."

4. You'll be directed to the payment page. Make a payment using any of the available options.

5. Once the payment is complete, you can print your JAMB Original Result slip. The JAMB Original Slip will also be emailed to you. If you are unable to print from your JAMB profile right away, you can print from your email later.

NOTE:

1. The cost of printing the JAMB Original Result Slip is N1,000.

2. Never use another person's account to make a payment. If you do, you will have paid for that person, and the JAMB original slip you will receive is for that person, not for you.

3. If you are unable to complete this task on your own, go to the nearest JAMB Accredited center or JAMB office. They will assist you there.
