7 Rules for Answering JAMB Exam Questions correctly

It is everybody believe that JAMB questions are always difficult to answer. In this article I will talk about Seven rules for answering JAMB questions correctly.

Below are the seven rules the  for answering JAMB 2022 questions correctly:

1. Take your time reading and understanding each question: One thing I've noticed about JAMB questions is that they appear simple but are actually quite complex. That is why you must read and comprehend each and every question. Take 20 minutes out of the 45 minutes you have for each question to read and understand it if possible.

Make sure you don't jump right into a question. JAMB is astute, which is why their questions are constructed in this manner. If you are nervous or tense before the exam, make sure you relax before entering the examination hall. If you don't, you'll probably make a lot of mistakes because you won't be able to understand the questions.

Important note: If you know you won't be able to manage your time properly, don't try to follow the formula of reading one question for 20 minutes. Before you attempt, make sure you understand each question.

2. Skip questions you are not sure aboutIf you are not sure about the answer to any question, don’t sit down and start wasting your time on that question. Remember that you have very limited time and if you fail to answer all your questions before the given time your computer will be shut down.

Any question that appears to be difficult to understand should be avoided. You can decide to return to the question later after answering other questions. This will allow you to save time and perform well on the exam.

3. Pay attention to exceptions in your questions, such as "not" and "except": This is where the majority of students wofly fail. Exceptions are words that indicate that something is not "part of" or "belongs" to a group or class.

Below is an example of a question with an explanation;

Which of the following is NOT a factor of production

(a) Land

(b)Sole proprietorship

(c) Labour

(d) Entrepreneur

The answer to the previous question appears to be "(b) sole proprietorship." Even if the question appears to be simple, any candidate who does not notice the "not" in the question is likely to get it wrong. So these exceptional questions are another important thing to remember when answering JAMB questions.

4. Pay attention to questions that hint at the answers to other questions: In an objective exam like the JAMB UTME, some questions may hint at the answers to other questions, and you must pay attention to those questions if you want to improve your score. You must be able to recognize when a question gives you a hint about the answer to another question.

5. Do not rush out of the examination hall without double-checking your answers: For a test like the JAMB UTME, it would be foolish to rush out without double-checking whether all of your answers are correct. Even after I finished writing the JAMB examination, I recall going over all of my questions again. It aided me in correcting some answers that I assumed were correct but were not.

So, if you have the opportunity, go over your questions once more. It will even assist you in correcting some answers that you may have picked hastily previously.

When you realize this, quickly return to the previous question and select the correct response. Don't wait until you've finished to start looking for the two questions; you might not have enough time. So, as soon as you notice that one question is providing you with the answer to another, please take action.

6. Begin with a subject you are very good at : Candidates in the JAMB UTME examination can begin with any subject. For example, if I am required to take JAMB subjects such as Use of English, Biology, physics, and Chemistry, I can choose to begin with any of them.

This is an excellent feature of the JAMB CBT software, which I adore. Starting with subjects you are familiar with and understand well will allow you to save a lot of time when answering the more difficult ones.

7. Finish all of the questions before the time runs out: If you really want to pass the upcoming JAMB Examination, make sure you finish all of the questions before the time runs out. By this, I mean that you should make certain that no questions are left unanswered due to a lack of time.

It is a common blunder made by candidates, and it can result in you having to retake the exam.

Even if you don't know the answer, tick whatever you think is the correct response. It's possible that you're correct. However, never, under any circumstances, leave a question unanswered due to a lack of time. This is extremely important, which is why I'm bringing it up.

I wish you success ahead of your exam.
